I've been wanting to come here for awhile but the place is always packed everytime we've stopped by. Finally we got a seat at the bar/counter. A veggie omelette and hashbrowns with rye, delicious. I was jealous of those that had a booth. A carafe of coffee was their prize, no waiting for the waitress to come by to fill your coffee cup. Our waitress was really friendly and chatty, great customer service. If you can find a table, it's a great little place to start off your Sunday morning,

Small town atmosphere with smaller town prices! Extensive Breakfast, lunch and Dinner menu, with ANY meal served ANY time. If it's not on the menu, they will create it for you. Lot's of regulars and the staff is soooo friendly. Really cozy and don't be afraid if there is a line. It moves quickly!!

Went to Baldwin cafe for the first time today, will not be the last! Staff was fantastic, food was fresh and delicious! My boyfriend and I are both in the restaurant business and were impressed with the prices, quality of the food and service.

Food was okay coffee was like drinking water. The cook forgot to add some of the veggies that i ordered to my omlette but i was glad that they offered out of the norm sides including cottage cheese hashbrown cakes and tomatoes on toast. Would come back to try more!

I don't know how they make their coney chili but it is amazing. Additionally their breakfast menu is great. It's a very small place but the food and waitstaff are amazing. Definitely try it out even if its just for carry out.

A little small and dingy looking, but the food is very nice and the staff are VERY friendly and helpful. Worth a stop for breakfast (I would recommend them to bring a little more originality to their menu)

Breakfast special is fantastic. 2.99 for 2 eggs, 2 pieces of toast, 2 sausage links or bacon strips, and hash browns. Holy smokes! I could eat here everyday for that price. Food is like waffle house...all made on the flat top, Short order style. It's made to order and I love the small town ambiance with the old man "regulars" that know everyone's names. I went on a Thursday at 9am and there was only one table available. Fast turnover is key here and works great! I will definitely be coming back. It's inspired me and my wife to set up a weekly breakfast with each other :)

I'm sure you know the feeling. The one where everyone is hungry, but no one wants to take the time to go home and cook, just to turn around and leave the house again. The feeling when you want to eat out, but don't want to spend a fortune. And finally, the feeling where you want to sit quietly eating your food without it feeling like an event. My husband and I felt that way today. It was the, "I just bought a ton of groceries-but don't want to go home yet-and don't really want to go to a mainstream restaurant-and don't want McDonald's," kinda day. He suggested the Baldwin Cafe. The small diner we pass every day, always point out, but never stop to eat there. Today, we stopped. And we were so glad we did! What a small, understated little diner. There are only about 8 or 10 booths, and a row of diner style counter stools. The place was literally run by 3 "kids." I'm showing my age a bit here, but I was amazed when our server said she works every day. I figured she was still in high school. Apparently, she's college age? Same with the cook and dishwasher. These kids were so in sync that I asked if everyone working was family. We explained that we were new, and our server greeted us with an excited, "Hope you like it and return! We have a lot of regulars." Which was very apparent, because at 2:30 in the afternoon the place had a steady stream of customers all being greeted by name as they entered. Their menu boasts, "2007 Prices" and "All Menu Items $5.99 or less". Our total bill with full meals, soda and tax came to just around $15! The cook waved and thanked us for coming, saying hope to see you again soon! And he will, because we'll be heading back soon for the $2.89 breakfast special. Two eggs, hash browns, two strips of bacon or two sausage links, and toast. Available until 11am. Oh and the great service too, of course!

My Wife and I have finally found Omelette Heaven (remember the scene in the movie "Defending Your Life ? !!) after we searched various restaurants & diners in Lake Orion, Orion Township, Clarkston, Waterford, Auburn Hills and White Lake. I absolutely believe the Mexican Omelette is the Best of The Best, while my wife loves their Western Omelette! This place is rarely not busy! They always have great & friendly staff especially the owners Dave & Valerie! Their Chili is sooo good as are their coneys!!! AWESOME!!!! Don't miss out or blink as you could miss it. It really could use expansion as when they get busy, you're going to wait! But, so very worth it. Very inexpensive!

Great little corner restaurant! This is the type of place where they know you by name, ask if you want the "usual" as they remember your typical order, and just in general make it a comfortable friendly experience. We go breakfast mostly- can't beat the price! The owners are also supportive and active in the community- support this business!

Baldwin Cafe is a restaurant all towns need. The wait staff treats you like they have known you forever. The food is excellent, especially their breakfast menu. They are extremely affordable, and I have never been disappointed. If you have never stopped, try it. I think you will be happy you did.

I've been here several times in the last few weeks. Have loved every visit. Get their coney dogs. De-lish! Also have had their french toast for breakfast - another plus! Great, great prices as well. Can't go wrong at this place. Limited seating. Show up at a good time!
